Kitchen Extension
Stylish and contemporary kitchen extension

Brief

To design and build a modern and contemporary kitchen extension that visually and structurally blends into the existing property, whilst creating a large focal point for the home, perfect for socialising and entertaining in.

Design and Service

Rococo provided a full turnkey solution for the customer, which incorporated all elements of the design process, co-ordination of all relevant professional services, groundworks, trades and product installation.

Our full management service, experience and showroom provided a perfect backdrop for our customers, who were able to view all the products in-depth to ensure no stone was left unturned. Specialist detailed design drawings of steel structures and threshold levels followed our total design plans to provide further clarity and confidence.

This build spanned the full length of the home, so a large amount of internal steel works were required to support the roof and hold the house above. All conducted with structural calculations, our expert teams hide steels in the ceiling to ensure a seamless result come completion.

It was vital for the project to create a large open plan family living environment, whilst having little or no impact on the garden. It was important for the living area to connect to the garden as the garden, once landscaped, was to become very much an extension of the kitchen.

The designs focused on utilising architectural aluminium for the bi-folding doors and a bespoke roofing element with re enforcement to allow for a large open expanse for bi folding doors.

End Results

This design and build project offers a unique option to the traditional, tiled single story extension.

With the use of bespoke materials, custom designed, we are able to ensure the light floods into the kitchen area, whilst seamlessly connecting to the garden. A specialist roof structure with in built re enforcement is custom built to ensure bi folding doors can be introduced without the need for large steel beams. This means the visual impact on the property is reduced , guttering and drainage becomes hiden and stylish and contemporary design achieved.

Not only offering great value to the customer in terms of quality of life, great value has also been added to the house, and wouldn’t be too far off a 100 % re-imbursement on the original invest, effectively making the whole project cost neutral!
