The brief

To create a bespoke design which delivered genuine all year round living and functionality. A design that linked two rooms, flowed into the garden and blended in with the house.

Design and Service

At Rococo we provided a full turnkey solution to our customers which included architectural quality designs and 3D rendering at the design phase to help the customers visualise the concept as well as a complete project management solution.

Our project management package included our designer becoming the project manager, which meant our clients received total continuity from design to fruition and a single point of contact for any questions or information required.  With the PM organising the various stages of the build, everything fell in line with the original design specification and the customer’s exacting requirements.

Our project manager also took responsibility for the quality control of all external trades brought into provide the finishing touches and delivering the project in line with the planned time scales.

Our design focused on utilising timber alternative products for the windows and French doors whilst utilising the additions of a Georgian bar design to offer contrast and elegance to each elevation.

This design also incorporated a bespoke break front which aided in providing depth to the garden facing aspect, increasing the aesthetical appreciation of the build whilst maintaining is original and traditional heritage.

The results

We are very happy to say that our team at Rococo produced a stunning traditional orangery, which has enhanced and extended the home. By linking from the kitchen to the lounge and connecting seamlessly with the garden, this new space has become the focal point of the whole home.

So what did our customers say….

I just wanted to write and say how thrilled we are with our new orangery.

We had cheaper quotes from other companies, but Colin helped us to make the final decision, as many companies purport to be offering orangeries but in reality they are glorified conservatories,

We had started off by looking at conservatories, but realised early on that they would not provide the thermal efficiency we needed to be able to use it all year round and allow us to take down the wall between the new kitchens and keep it open into the new space.  Colin not only came up with the best design, but helped me ask the right questions of the other companies to ascertain what EXACTLY they were offering, which was often not what they originally had promised.

Colin constantly reassured us that Rococo had the only product that met our detailed requirements.  At every point we were consulted in all major decisions, re. choice of brick, to match our existing house, quality of frames and what design would to make the best use of our garden views etc.  He visited us many times before, during and after the build and at all times was professional, helpful and friendly.  All the different workmen were friendly, efficient and cleared up well, especially as they had to contend with some dreadful weather.

The quality and finished product is excellent and we would have no hesitation in recommending Colin and Rococo to anyone looking for an orangery that can be used all year round.
