Rococo provided a full turnkey solution for the customer, which included architectural quality in house designs and 3D rendering. This enabled our customers to fully visualise the concept without any effort, allowing them to think much further ahead in design terms as well as ensure the ideas they were conveying were correctly interpreted from the outset.

Our complete project management package included the designer becoming the project manager which provided much needed continuity throughout the multiple elements of the project and a single point of contact for our customers.

The designs focused on utilising architectural aluminium for the windows, bi-folding doors and external cladding.

This concept also incorporated a bespoke structural design, which meant that the project could achieve a much slimmer sight line at the corner point, where the two bi fold door systems meet leaving a very impressive profile. This, in turn, provided a much cleaner view out into the garden and would be circa 3 times narrower than a full structural brick pillar, thus really showing off the capabilities of modern design with a traditional twist. The concept also features an overhang which develops a unique depth, shade and contrast to the finished appeal.

End Results

We're pleased to report we produced a first class orangery that has enhanced and extended the home by opening up living areas and providing much more space. We took care to ensure the thermal flow through the extension from the existing structure remained the same and that any additions led to improved energy efficiency.

The external overhang with top quality cedar cladding and built in LED lights looks fabulous at night and will really enhance the atmosphere, especially on a summer’s evening. All of this comes alongside bespoke aluminium cladding, a rendered finish, LED internal lighting, orangery windows and doors and underfloor heating beneath the luxurious tiled floor. These elements combine to give the project a real sparkle that’s hard to miss!
